Thursday 4th June 2020.
Inspired by Summer at Bradgate Park Trust, get hands-on making two beautiful A5 sketchbooks for all your drawings, notes or summer journalling. Learn how to make simple, practical books using the Japanese Stab binding and Pamphlet Stitch methods. We’ll fill the sketchbooks with quality cartridge art papers, work with specialist bookbinding tools and multicolour embroidery threads. Finish off by hand printing the book covers choosing from a selection of linocut designs from The Laughing Cactus printmaking studio collection.
